Vintage Report: Jean Pabiot et Fils

Good news from Les Loges in Pouilly sur Loire:

As we knew from the outset, Pouilly-Fume was not as badly affected by the April frost as was Sancerre. Jean Pabiot reports a harvest quantity that is 75% of full production...excellent news in this weird year.

The Pabiots harvested from Sept. 24 until Oct.4th under excellent conditions.

As is typical of 2021 and quite welcome, the average alc. degree is 12.5%, compared to the close to 14% as in the previous vintages

"We will have a fine, classic vintage of great quality.” - Jerome Pabiot.
